Commissioning to the Colours
Commissioned in December 1953 through the National Defence Academy (Military Wing) — now the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun — Major Brahma Singh served in the Punjab Regiment and, from 1962, in the Jammu & Kashmir Rifles.
Commissioned into the Army
Commissioned through the National Defence Academy (Military Wing) — now the Indian Military Academy, Dehradun — into the Punjab Regiment.
Service with the Punjab Regiment
Serves as a commissioned officer with the Punjab Regiment through the 1950s and into the early 1960s.
